American Releases Conference Women’s Basketball Game Times

NEW ORLEANS – Game times for all women's basketball conference match-ups in the American have been announced this afternoon by the league. Also announced were linear television designations for multiple contests, including a game on ESPNU for the Green Wave against in-state foe LSU.

Tip-off times for all 18 of Tulane's conference contests have been revealed with the Green Wave opening conference play at UTSA on December 30 at 1:00 p.m. A road match-up at Wichita State follows on January 3 with a 2:00 p.m. tip.

The Wave's first home conference game is at 6:30 p.m. on January 6 against Tulsa. All of Tulane's home American contests will be played at 6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. on weekends. Road game times will vary, including a match-up at Temple that begins at 6:00 p.m. on January 13. The contest at Rice on January 24 tips at 2:00 p.m., and when the Wave travel to Memphis on January 27, the contest begins at 7:00 p.m. The game at South Florida on February 7 begins at 6:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. tip scheduled at North Texas on February 14 a week later. Tulane's final two road conference affairs feature tip-off times of 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Tulsa (Feb. 24) and Florida Atlantic (March 3), respectively. All game times are listed in central time and are subject to change.

Also announced by the league office were linear television designations for games featuring American teams. The Green Wave has one contest in the national spotlight, its marquee match-up against LSU on November 17, which will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. on ESPNU. This will be the first of six American women's basketball games on linear television within the ESPN family of networks.

Tulane opens its season on Monday, November 3, against Campbell at 4:00 p.m. at the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.
