Tulane Hosts Centenary College for Exhibition Matchup
Oct 27, 2025 | Men's Basketball
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's basketball will take the court at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse for the first time ahead of the 2025-26 campaign when it hosts Centenary College for an exhibition game Tuesday night.
Â
The contest is set to tipoff at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are available for as low as $9.
Â
This marks the 17th overall meeting between the Green Wave and Centenary College. Tulane holds a 13-3 record against the Gentlemen including an eight-game winning streak entering Tuesday night's exhibition. In the most recent meeting, the Wave defeated Centenary College 77-36 in New Orleans on November 19, 2010.
Â
The Green Wave returns for the 2025-26 season after reaching the postseason for the first time since 2014 with an appearance in the Inaugural College Basketball Crown in April. Tulane finished the year with a 19-15 overall and 12-6 in conference play reaching the American Championship semifinals for the fourth time since joining the league.
Â
Tulane brings eight players back to Uptown from last year's squad including American Preseason Player of the Year and unanimous First Team All-Conference selection Rowan Brumbaugh. He is joined by fellow preseason all-conference honoree Asher Woods as well as Percy Daniels, Tyler Ringgold, and KJ Greene who each saw significant time on the court last season.
Â
During the offseason, the Wave loaded up on talent from the transfer portal and 2025 recruiting class. The newcomers for Tulane are highlighted by transfers Davion Bradford (ETSU), Scotty Middleton (Seton Hall), Josiah Moore (Oral Roberts), and Curtis Williams Jr. (Georgetown) alongside freshmen Robert Moore and Vasilije Kuridza.
Â
Following Tuesday night's exhibition, the Green Wave will open the 2025-26 regular season at home against Samford on Monday, November 3. The season-opener is scheduled to tipoff at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
