
Tulane Inks Tobias Brinkley to 2026 Signing Class

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's basketball added four-star prospect, according to ESPN, Tobias Brinkley from Atlanta on National Signing Day. Brinkley is the 11th-ranked player in the state of Georgia and the 56th-rated small forward in the country according to ESPN.

The Decatur High School product is a 6-7 wing with the ability to play above the rim on both ends of the floor and knock down shots from the outside as a lefty. Brinkley is a smart player with relentless hustle that has shown the ability to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates.

Brinkley began his final prep season competing for Decatur at the Georgia Elite 8 Tip-Off Classic against Pebblebrook where his finished with a double-double recording 13 points and 15 rebounds. He will serve as a captain for Decatur during his senior campaign.

Despite missing his junior season, Brinkley enters his senior season in 2025-26 as a Preseason Second Team All-State in Class 5A selection and a prospect on the Atlanta All-Metro Preseason Watch List. He was also selected for the Underclassmen All-American Game.

In his sophomore campaign in 2023-24 Brinkley averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks per game to garner All-Region honors. He also earned a selection to compete in the Chris Paul Rising Stars National Camp in 2023.

Following the conclusion of his high school career, Brinkley will join the Green Wave in Uptown next fall.
