NEW ORLEANS – The #61 Tulane women's tennis team lost a ranked battle to conference foe #67 Wichita State Sunday afternoon at the City Park Tennis Facility.

The Shockers improved to 9-6 overall, while Tulane drops to 8-6 on the season.Â

Campell Ricci (#1), Summer Chandler (#2) and Lulu Zhu (#3) all secured set victories in their matches before the match was clinched on Court 4 with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 victory for Theodora Chantava from WSU.Â
The Green Wave is back in action Wednesday versus Nicholls State at 2pm at City Park Tennis Facility. Live stats will be available for the contest.
