Green Wave Falls on the Road at Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – Tulane men's tennis dropped its fifth consecutive match on Sunday as it fell 6-1 on the road to No. 59 Tulsa.
With the loss the Wave dropped to 5-13 overall and 1-5 against American Athletic Conference opponents. Meanwhile, the 59th-ranked Golden Hurricane improved to 10-12 on the year.
The match began with Tulsa taking control by winning the doubles point with victories on courts one and two.
As Tulane looked to flip the momentum in singles, the Golden Hurricane continued to put the pressure on the Wave. Tulsa quickly claimed wins in straight sets on courts one, two, and three to secure the match victory.
After the match was secured by Tulsa, Vincent Vohl put Tulane on the board winning in two sets (7-6, 7-5) on court four. The Wave dropped the final two points on courts five and six to ultimately lose 6-1.
Up next, Tulane will return home to host Liberty on Friday, April 4, at City Park Tennis Center.
