
Tulane Sailing Announces 2025 Fall Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing program unveiled its 2025 fall slate which will feature 17 regattas including a pair of home events. The fall campaign will also include two national championships in the ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race National Championships.
The Green Wave will open its fall schedule in Corpus Christi, Texas, for a pair of regattas. Texas A&M – Corpus Christi will host the SEISA Singlehanded & Match Race Championships and the Lone Star Fleet Race from September 12-14.
Tulane will return home the following weekend to host its first home regatta of the year on September 20-21. The Sugar Bowl Open and Women's Fleet Races will be held on the waters of Lake Pontchartrain. The Wave has claimed first place in both the open and women's competitions each of the last three seasons.
To wrap up the month of September, the Green Wave will hit the road for two separate regattas in the northeast on September 27-28. The Green Wave women's team will travel to Annapolis, Maryland, for the Women's ACC Semifinals hosted by Navy. Meanwhile, the Tulane coed crew will venture to New London, Connecticut, to race for the Danmark Trophy hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Tulane will continue its journey on the road through the month of October. For the first weekend of the month, October 4-5, the Wave will send both squads New London, Connecticut, for a pair of regattas. The Green Wave coed crew will compete in the Coed ACC Semifinals hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy while the Wave women will race for the Stu Nelson Trophy hosted by Connecticut College.

The following weekend the Wave will deploy its women's team for the Women's ACC Finals hosted by MIT in Boston, Massachusetts, from October 11-12. The Tulane coed squad will be in Kings Point, New York, the same weekend to compete for the Nevins Trophy hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
From October 18-19 Tulane will race in the Coed ACC Finals and the Yale Women's Fleet Race. The Open ACC Finals will be hosted by Navy in Annapolis, Maryland, while Yale will hold the women's fleet race in New Haven, Connecticut.
The Green Wave will conclude the month of October with a trip back to Corpus Christi, Texas, for the SEISA Fall Championships from October 25-26. Tulane has swept the SEISA Fall Championships each of the last five seasons.
On November 1 the Wave will be back home for its final home regatta of the fall. The Green Wave will hit the waters of Lake Pontchartrain again to host the Baldwin Wood regatta.
The ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race National Championships will follow in the month of November for the Wave. The singlehanded championship will be hosted by Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia, on November 8-9 before South Florida hosts the match race championship on November 15-16 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Sailors must qualify to compete in the ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race Championships at the SEISA Singlehanded and Match Race Championships in September.

Tulane will conclude its fall campaign at the Rose Bowl Open Fleet Race on January 3-4. The regatta will be hosted by USC in Long Beach, California.
