Feb 10, 2026 | Women's Bowling
NEW ORLEANS – The NTCA February Coaches Poll was revealed today with the Tulane bowling program holding steady at No. 17 in the top 25. The Green Wave began the season at No. 19 in the preseason rankings and climbed to No. 17 with the December edition of the poll.
Â
All 12 members of Conference USA are ranked still in the latest poll. This includes each of the top-six programs with Jacksonville State remaining the No. 1 team in the nation. The Gamecocks earned 41 of the 44 available first-place votes, and the remaining three votes were given to No. 2 Vanderbilt. Arkansas State, Wichita State, and Louisiana Tech round out the top five.
Â
The Wave is 38-27 on the season with seven wins against top-10 teams and 16 total victories over ranked foes. Tulane averages 190.7 pins per game.
Â
Mia Stolakis leads the team with 268 strikes as one of three Wave bowlers recording over 200 on the season. She is joined by Emma Fetterman (217) and Paige Matiasek (208). Stolakis is one of the best anchor bowlers in the country, posting the fourth-best 10th frame scoring average in the nation at 21.808 per frame. Her 10th frame fill percentage of 89.6 is eight in the country, and her 36.8 10th frame double percentage is fourth. In the traditional format, Fetterman is second in the country with a 3.8 split leave percentage. She is just behind the national leader, Jacksonville State's Gianna Brandolino, and her mark of 3.5 percent.
Â
The Wave recently won both the SWIBC V and VI with individual champions in each event. Linnea Holcomb and Lyllian Smith topped the standings in the respective competitions. Tulane wrapped up play this past weekend in the Flyer Classic in Lockport, Illinois, placing 15th. The 17th-ranked Wave will be back in action at the end of the month with the TNBA Open, hosted by The National Bowling Association in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The three-day event runs from Friday, February 27, to Sunday, March 1.
