The LSWA Names Baseball’s Wachs As All-Louisiana Selection

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane's baseball team saw former outfielder Jason Wachs honored as a member of the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) 2026 All-Louisiana Team, the organization recently announced.
Wachs was an LSWA First Team selection as an outfielder after leading the team with his .327 batting average, 48 runs, 66 hits, 21 doubles, nine home runs, 54 RBIs, 116 total bases, .574 slugging percentage, and a .455 on-base percentage. He ranked third in the conference and 28th nationally in doubles. Wachs was previously named First Team All-Conference in the American.
In 2026, the Green Wave went 25-31 with a mark of 10-17 in league play. The team had an All-Conference selection in Wachs, were honored weekly by the league office nine times and had five College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections in pitcher Trey Cehajic, pitcher Sam Larson, first baseman Trent Liolios, pitcher Jake Toporek, and pitcher Blaise Wilcenski.
