Jul 22, 2026 | Baseball, General, Women's Volleyball
NEW ORLEANS (July 22, 2026) — Tulane Athletics and American Safety, in partnership with Learfield's Tulane Sports Properties, today announced a five-year jersey patch agreement naming American Safety the official jersey patch partner for Green Wave baseball and volleyball. The agreement, which will be the department's largest corporate contribution to date, also marks the first jersey patch partnership in Tulane Athletics history.
Â
"We're excited to welcome American Safety as our first-ever jersey patch partner, marking a new chapter in Tulane Athletics history," said David Harris, Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair. "Its commitment to community and excellence aligns perfectly with our values, and this partnership will help elevate our programs while showcasing the strength of our local partners. We look forward to a successful partnership and the positive impact it will have on our student-athletes and fans."
Â
Beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season, the American Safety logo will appear on the uniforms of Tulane Green Wave baseball and volleyball. The volleyball team will take the court this fall under new head coach Dex Schroeder. The partnership is part of American Safety's ongoing commitment to the Greater New Orleans region.
Â
Founded in 2019 in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, American Safety provides comprehensive solutions for commercial and industrial clients, including transportation, environmental services, disaster response and industrial services. The company has grown rapidly, with offices across eight states and a fleet of more than 400 vehicles serving both industrial and hospitality sectors.
Â
"American Safety was founded on a commitment to providing consistent, reliable service while supporting the communities where we live and work," said American Safety Founder, President and CEO Corey Rosales. "We built our reputation through hard work, dedication and strong partnerships, and we see those same qualities reflected in Tulane Athletics. We're proud to support these student-athletes and look forward to the positive impact they will make in the future."
Â
Beyond the jersey patch, American Safety's partnership extends across the broader Tulane Athletics platform and includes intellectual property rights and branding opportunities in baseball, volleyball, football, and men's and women's basketball. Additionally, American Safety will provide ground transportation services for all Green Wave Athletics teams traveling to games and events. The agreement also includes television-visible signage, digital activations and fan engagement programs.
Â
"By working closely with Tulane Athletics, we've been able to capitalize on emerging sponsorship opportunities such as jersey patches that drive incremental revenue, strengthen the Green Wave's competitive edge and increase brand visibility for our partners," said Steve Stroud, general manager of Tulane Sports Properties. "American Safety recognized the unique value that Tulane Athletics brings to the table, and this partnership is a testament to our ability to connect forward-thinking brands with the right platforms at the right time."
Â
Tulane Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield — the leading media and technology company powering college athletics — is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Tulane Athletics and oversees all sponsorship agreements on behalf of the Green Wave.
