Baseball Introduces Kyler Harris as Volunteer Director of Player Development & Camp Coordinator

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Head Coach Jay Uhlman has announced the addition of Kyler Harris to the Green Wave staff as the Volunteer Director of Player Development & Camp Coordinator.
"We're thrilled to welcome Kyler Harris to the Tulane family," Coach Uhlman said. "Kyler will be instrumental in the ongoing development of our student-athletes, fostering an environment where they can excel on the field, in the classroom, and as young men. He will also lead our baseball camps and serve as a vital link between the next generation of players and our program. His energy, passion for player development, and dedication to building strong relationships make him a tremendous addition to our staff. Welcome to Uptown, Kyler!"
A native of Colwich, Kansas, Harris, most recently served as the pitching coach at Pitt Community College (PCC) for the 2025-26 season. The Bulldogs finished with a 31-17 record and advanced to the NJCAA Division II Region 10 Tournament. During Harris's tenure, five pitchers transferred to four-year programs, including four who were recruited to NCAA Division I schools.
Before PCC, Harris served as the pitching coach at Camp Community College (CCC), where he also managed Strength and Conditioning efforts for the program. During his time there, the Hurricanes achieved their first-ever World Series appearance and won the 2024 Region 10 Championship. He coached three All-Region pitchers and helped break program records in ERA and WHIP.
Harris spent the summers of 2024 and 2025 in the Coastal Plain League (CPL), one of the premier summer leagues for rising college players.
As a player, Harris began his collegiate career at Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC), where he pitched 44 innings and earned his Associate of Arts degree. He continued his playing career at Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NOSU), graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Science with a minor in Sports Psychology. He further advanced his education and completed his playing career by earning a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Mary (ND) in 2024.
