2022 (Sophomore): Saw action in 21 games... Ended the year with a 1-1 record with a 5.74 ERA… Each of his 21 appearances came in relief... Recorded one save… Allowed 22 runs, 17 earned... Finished the year with 26.2 innings and 31 strikeouts... Made his first appearance opening weekend against UMass-Lowell (2/20)... Saw his longest outing of the year at Houston (4/16) as he worked 3.0 inning and struck out one... Struck out four in 3.0 innings of work vs Cincinnati (5/7)... Recorded seven out strikeouts at American Athletic Conference Tournament between games vs South Florida (5/25) and East Carolina (5/28).
2021 (Freshman): Appeared in six games as a rookie for the Green Wave... All of his action came out of the bullpen... Made his collegiate debut at Southeastern (3/3)... Notched his first career strikeout at home against nationally-ranked Louisiana Tech (3/19)... Closed out the year by recording a strikeout in 0.1 inning of work at Cincinnati (5/22).
Prior to Tulane: A New Orleans, Louisiana, native, Valigosky joins the Olive and Blue roster after spending three years on Jesuit High School’s baseball team…Helped the Blue Jays to playoff appearances in all three years, winning districts as a junior while helping the team go 15-2 as a senior before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic…Named to the State All-Star team as a senior and the Prep Baseball Report’s All-State Futures Team…As a sophomore, the left-handed pitcher recorded a 13-strikeout game before suffering an injury that prevented him from pitching as a junior…Was an American Legion Baseball state runner-up and American Legion Baseball district champion during all four years…Intends to major in finance at Tulane…Great uncle, Donald Hecker, played baseball at Tulane and grandfather, David Hecker, played baseball at LSU before being drafted by the Atlanta Braves.
