Career: A solid catcher who provided depth at the position after being thrust into the starting role during his freshman campaign…a career .195 hitter across 90 games with 56 starts…scored 12 runs on 34 hits – including five doubles – while knocking in 15 runs…finishes his career ranked ninth in school history with 23 runners caught stealing, while tying for 24th in most sacrifice hits with 13.
2016 (Senior): Appeared in 16 games with six starts, all at catcher…batted .375 with two runs, nine hits, one double, four RBI and four walks…notched a slugging percentage of .417 while posting an on-base percentage of .464…recorded three multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game…had a perfect fielding percentage in 68 chances…made his first start of the season during game two of a doubleheader vs. Illinois State (3/26), posting two walks and an RBI-single...notched a single at UL-Lafayette (4/12)...was 2-for-4 with an RBI-single in a start vs. Southern Miss (4/19)...started against Southern (5/11), going 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI...doubled and singled while scoring a run during the second game of a doubleheader at Houston (5/20)...walked once in a start vs. Utah during the NCAA Oxford Regional (6/5).
