Summer Ball: Played with Team LeBreton of the NORD All-American League in 2002, earning Pitcher of the Year honors after going 9-1 with a 1.20 ERA...helped the squad win the league title and advance to the AAABA World Series where they finished runner-up.
High School: Four-year letterman at Jesuit High for coach David Moreau, seeing time at first base and on the mound...earned All-District 10-5A and All-Orleans honors as a junior and senior...went 14-5 during his final two prep seasons, tallying a 2.15 ERA as a junior and a 1.89 ERA as a senior...helped the Blue Jays win the district championship as a sophomore and finish as the state runners-up as a freshman...earned All-American Legion 1st District honors from 1998-2000, and helped his Legion squad win four district titles...in 2000, earned Rusty Staub Award, Legion Player of the Year and Ben Bagert Legion Pitcher of the Year honors...graduated with honors and earned the District 10-5A Academic Award as a senior.
