2020 (Freshman): Made seven appearances on the mound with two starts in his inaugural season with the Green Wave… Had a 3-0 record with a 1.37 ERA on the season while posting contributing to a combined shutout and one save… In 19.2 innings of work, allowed three runs on 12 hits with 16 strikeouts and one walk… Ranked first in the American Athletic Conference in K/BB ratio (16.00) and BB/9 (0.46)...Ranked 11th in the NCAA in BB/9 and 12th in K/BB ratio...Had an opponent batting average of .171… Made debut in game three against Florida Gulf Coast, pitching two innings allowing a hit with a strikeout (2/16)… Earned his first collegiate victory by pitching 3.1 shutout innings at Louisiana-Lafayette, striking out two (2/19)… Collected second win by pitching 4.2 innings of relief against Cal State Fullerton, allowing three hits with two strikeouts and a walk (2/23)… Struck out four in three innings against Texas Southern, giving up one hit in third win of the year (3/3)… Picked up the save and preserved the shutout against Southern by pitching three innings of relief and striking out four (3/7).

High School: A three-sport prep athlete at Westminster High School in Georgia, lettering all four years in baseball as a pitcher and outfielder, three years as a wide receiver and safety on the football team and one year as a shooting guard on the basketball team… Was the pick as team captain as a junior and senior, pulling in team MVP honors both seasons as well… Went 6-3 as a senior on the mound earning all-league honors for the third consecutive year, as well as all-region and all-state honors in class 3A for the second straight year… Was 8-2 on the mound as a junior, falling in the state championship game… Was 5-2 on the year as a sophomore, falling in the first round of the state playoffs… As a freshman helped clinch a state championship where he went 3-0 on the season.
