2018-19 Athletes for Hope Student-Athlete of the Year

2019 (Sophomore): Played in five games making two starts as a sophomore… Earned a hit in the opener against George Washington (2/16)… Went 1-for-4 with a walk and run scored against Texas Southern (3/6).

2018 (Freshman): Played in 21 games with seven starts in the outfield…recorded three hits, two doubles, two RBI, four walks and scored a run…earned his first start in right field vs. Lamar (2/28)…drew a walk and HBP vs ULL (3/13)…started in right field vs. Southern Miss (3/14)…recorded his first career hit at LBSU (3/16)…drove in his first run with an RBI single at LBSU (3/17)…doubled at USF (3/30)…drove in a run and scored a run vs. ETSU (4/21; G1)…was named to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for fall 2017 and spring 2018.

High School: A three-year letterman at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana…played center field for the Blue Jays…as a senior, hit .364 with five home runs, 12 doubles, and 26 RBIs, earning Second Team All-Metro honors…reached the State quarterfinals as a sophomore and senior…ranked 10th in the Louisiana class of 2017 by Perfect Game and selected to Louisiana High School Coaches Association 2017 All-Star team…finished high school with a career batting average of .340…played five years of summer ball for the Louisiana Knights…selected to 2016 Battle of the Borders All-American Tournament team, 2016 17U Perfect Game All-Tournament team and 2017 18U Perfect Game All-Tournament team… member of National Honor Society, Summa Cum Laude accelerated program, and various subject honors awards.

Personal: Has one older sister … mother, Suzanne, graduated from Tulane Law School … major is neuroscience.
