2017 (Graduate Transfer): Appeared in 15 games with one start…went 1-2 with a 6.06 ERA and one save in 16.1 innings…allowed 14 hits and 14 runs (11 earned) while striking out 10 and walking 28…held opponents to the second lowest batting average on the team at .241…made his Tulane debut vs. Air Force (2/18), picking up a save and striking out a batter in 1.0 scoreless inning … pitched 1.0 scoreless inning at Nicholls State (3/15)…fanned five in 4.0 innings at New Orleans (4/4) without surrendering a run…in his final appearance of the season, tallied his first win after pitching 2.0 innings vs. New Orleans (5/16)…was a member of the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for Fall 2016 and was a 2016-17 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team member.
Prior to Tulane: Spent three years at Furman … sat out his freshman and sophomore years due to injury … made his collegiate debut in 2015, appearing in eight games in relief for a total of 7.2 innings … in his first outing, went one inning and gave up only one walk while surrendering no hits and fanning one … tossed 19.0 inning across 12 appearances with three starts in 2016 … played summer ball for the Cincinnati Steam as a closer in 2016 for his No. 14 ranked team.
High School: A four-year letterman at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio … split time between first base, shortstop and pitcher in high school … helped his program claim Miami Valley Conference Scarlet Division, regional, district, and sectional championships in three of his four seasons of play … as a junior earned all-conference and all-city honors and was named to the 2011 Buckeye Scout News All-Star and Ohio North-South All-Star Teams, as well as Team USA Ohio Valley … played summer ball with the Midwest Redbirds and was rated Ohio’s No. 30 player overall following his junior season by Prep Baseball Report … also received three letters in basketball at point guard.
Personal: Older sister, Margaux, played soccer at Vanderbilt, and older brother, Tom, played baseball at Furman … currently pursuing his masters of business administration-management at Tulane.
