Career: A fire-balling right-hander who served as a reliable arm out of the bullpen – in addition to making one clutch start - during his lone season with the Green Wave…went 4-1 with a save to go along with a 3.44 ERA in 16 games with one start after spending the first three years of his collegiate career at Rice, Weatherford College and West Virginia…totaled 18.1 innings with 22 strikeouts while holding opponents to a paltry .186 batting average…was a 32nd-round draft pick (959th overall) of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
2016 (Redshirt-Senior): Appeared in 16 games with one start…went 4-1 with a 3.44 ERA and one save in 18.1 innings…allowed 11 hits and eight runs (seven earned) while striking out 22 and walking 11…held opponents to a .186 batting average…was third on the team in games finished (7), tied for fourth in saves (1) and games in relief (15) and tied for fifth in wins…picked up the win out of the bullpen vs. Illinois (2/19)...fanned two in relief vs. Alabama A&M (2/24)...struck out two in relief vs. Nebraska (2/28)...got the win in 1.0 inning of work vs. Pepperdine (3/6)...fanned five in 3.0 innings in a win vs. UL-Lafayette (3/8)...picked up the series-clinching win at Texas (3/20), fanning two in 1.1 innings...got the save in 1.0 inning of work at UCF (4/23)...struck out one in 1.0 inning vs. Southern (5/11)...played in left field for an inning during the first game of a doubleheader at Houston (5/20)... made his first start of the season vs. UCF, striking out four in 2.1 innings at The American Baseball Championships (5/24)...struck out one in 1.1 innings vs. Boston College during the season finale at the NCAA Oxford Regional (6/5).
2015 (Senior): Sat out the season according to NCAA transfer rules.
West Virginia (2014):Played in 28 games at the plate with four starts and in six games on the mound with one start for the Mountaineers in 2014...hit .050 with one hit, six runs, one RBI and one stolen base on the season...posted an ERA of 7.56 in 8.1 innings...went 0-1 with three strikeouts.
Weatherford College (2013):Played in 55 games for the Coyotes as a sophomore...hit .294 with 10 doubles, two triples, one home run and 19 RBI...also made 11 appearances on the mound during the season...went 4-4 with a 5.40 ERA in 43.1 innings...recorded 38 strikeouts.
Rice (2012):Appeared in three games for the Owls as a true freshman...totaled 2.0 innings, allowing four hits and five runs...notched three strikeouts and walked two...also served as a backup kicker for the Owls' football squad.
