Mitchell enters his first season with the Tulane Men's Basketball staff.
Mitchell reunites with Hunter after playing under him at Georgia State. As a senior at Georgia State, Mitchell earned 2018-19 All-Sun Belt Preseason Second Team honors before averaging 12.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3 percent from 3-point range, ranked No. 1 in the Sun Belt and No. 14 in the NCAA. Mitchell played a key role in the Panthers trip to the NCAA tournament.
Prior to Georgia State, Mitchell spent a season with Alabama, appearing in 12 games.
The Lawrenceville, Georgia native earned his bachelors in journalism while at Georgia State.
