Quinton Nease was hired as an assistant athletic trainer at Tulane in July of 2018. His primary responsibility is providing medical coverage and overseeing all aspects of healthcare for the Green Wave's men's basketball and women's bowling programs.
Prior to his arrival in New Orleans, Nease, MS, LAT, ATC, CES, held the same title under the auspices of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center at Nicholls State for over three years after his start in January of 2015.
Prior to his employment with Thibodaux Regional, Nease served a seasonal athletic training internship with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons for two seasons. While with the Falcons, Nease assisted with the administration of therapeutic modalities, monitored athletes during rehabilitation exercises and aided with practices and games.
Nease is a 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he worked as a student athletic trainer for baseball, football, volleyball, swimming & diving, and women’s soccer while completing his dual bachelor’s degree in athletic training and exercise Science. He completed his master’s degree in exercise science through California University of Pennsylvania in December of 2014.
Nease is a board certified athletic trainer, CPR/AED certified, and corrective exercise specialist and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. He also volunteered at the Manning Passing Academy from 2015-17.
