2021-22: Member of the 2022 ICSA Open Fleet Race National Championship team… Sailed in the A Division for Tulane in the ICSA Women's Fleet Race Eastern Semifinal to advance to the National Championship finals… Contributed on the crew for a sixth place finish at the Seahawk Women's Team Race… Helped Tulane record an 18-7 record for a second place finish at the Green Wave Women's Team Race sailing as a crew… Sailed in the A Division for one of seven Tulane teams in the Baldwin-Wood Trophy Regatta and finished seventh.
2020-21: Part of a Green Wave team that recorded a fourth place finish at the Seahawk Wave Showdown racing in the B Division… Helped Tulane post a 13-2 record to finish first at the South Florida 3GT Team Race sailing as a crew… Sailed as crew on the Green Wave Women team at the South Florida 3GT Fleet Race to a seventh place finish… Member of the crew in the B Division for the Tulane Riptide team to finish ninth at the Nelson Roltsch Fleet Race and sailed on the crew for the Riptide Team to finish sixth in the Nelson Roltsch Team Race.
2019-20: Finished seventh of 14 teams in the Baldwin Wood Regatta’s B Division races alongside skippers Kat Byrnes and Alanna Austin, helping Tulane’s women team to a third-place overall finish…Helped the Tulane women’s team to a first-place finish in the Patrick Sullivan Burtchaell Regatta, finishing third of seven in the A Division races alongside Austin…Finished second of nine teams in the Big Easy Fleet Race alongside skipper Luke Schuman.
Before Tulane: Was a four-year water polo player at Cypress Bay...Won the district championship in 2015 and 2018...Named her Team MVP in 2018...Was Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel All-County First Team in 2018...Was a member of the Olympic Development Program in 2016 and 2017...Competed in the Junior Pan American Games with Puerto Rico in 2017...Scored 80 goals and added 31 assists as a senior...Scored the double-overtime championship-winning goal in the district title game in 2017...Also played water polo with the South Florida Water Polo Club from 2015-18, winning the South Florida Turkey Bowl.
Personal: Daughter of Mona and Diego Bentz...Has one younger brother, Sebastian...Intends to major in Economics and Cognitive Studies with plans to work in international relations.
