OUTDOOR: Notched her top 1500-meter time of the season at 4:40.76 at the LSU Twilight Invitational (3/27). INDOOR: Scored in three events at the C-USA Championships. Earned second place in the mile run and added seventh place in the 3,000-meter run with a personal best time of 10:07.83. Also helped the distance-medley relay team to third place. Tallied a career-best time of 4:53.84 in the mile at the Gator Invitational (2/1). CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in four meets, finishing in 29th (third for the Wave) at the C-USA Championship.

OUTDOOR: Earned all-conference honors by finishing eighth at the Conference USA Championships in the 1,500-meter run. Posted a personal-best 1,500-meter time of 4:38.27 at the Southern Miss Invitational (4/18). Registered a time of 17:36.63 in the 5,000-meter run at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (4/5). INDOOR: Only competed at the C-USA Championship due to injuries. Running her first race in two years, anchored Tulane[apos]s distance-medley relay team to second place at the championship (2/28) with a 5:04 mile split as the team recorded a time of 12:00.54. Finished 12th in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:21.43.
AT UNC-ASHEVILLE (2000-02)
Transferred to Tulane after two seasons at UNC-Asheville, where she earned Dean[apos]s List honors in three semesters.
PREP
A 1999 graduate of Koenig-Heinrich School. A two-time member of the German National Team (1996 and 1997). Placed second in the 3,000-meter run (9:57.79) at the German Junior Championships in 1995. Followed that with a 10:05 3,000 to take third at the same event in 1996.
PERSONAL
Born September 29, 1979 in Kassel, Germany. The daughter of Werner and Lilo Wicke. A double major in math and environmental science at Tulane. Younger sister Lena, plays competitive table tennis in Germany, while her older sister, Kathrin, plays professional hand ball.
