2022 Cross Country: Recorded two top 30 finished in five meets… Had a career best in the 5k at the UNO XC Opener with a time of 15:54.0 to place 24^th(Sept. 2)... PR’d in the 4M at the 46^th Rice Invitational XC Meet on with a time of 21:33.3 (Sept. 9).

Before Tulane: Was a two-year letterman at Lyons Township High School, where he competed under head coach Michael Danner… During his time at Lyons Township, helped his team to become Sectional Champions… Named All-State in 2020 and 2021 in the 4x 800 (5^th in state) event and All Regional in 2022 in cross country…All-State in cross country in 2020…Placed 23^rd at state in his junior year of high school…An Honor Student, National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta recipient, Latin Honors Society, Coaches’ Medal Award, LTHS Alumni Award

Personal: Son of Beth McLawhorn and Todd McLawhorn (deceased)…Has three siblings including older brothers Pierce, Will, and Harry…He plans to work abroad after graduate school and impact as many people as he can…He wants to make a lasting change in the world for those who are underrepresented….Interesting fact is he is missing three ribs on the left side of his body…His favorite all-time athletes/person is Larry Bird and Alan Watts…Enjoys photography/basketball and eating in his free time.
