Connor Grootenhuis joined the Tulane women's basketball program in August of 2017 as a graduate assistant.

Grootenhuis is responsible for all aspects of the team’s video content. He will assist in creating highlight videos as well as filming and coding practices/games. He will also maintain traditional graduate assistant duties including but not limited to day-to-day operations of the program, mail-outs, and practice set-up.

Grootenhuis arrives at Tulane after spending four years with the Miami (Ohio) University women’s basketball program. During his time with the Redhawks, he worked closely with their staff to spearhead multiple technology-based initiatives and ultimately became a member of the ESPN3 sports video production crew.

Grootenhuis is originally from Dublin, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree in sports leadership and management from Miami's Department of Kinesiology and Health. While at Tulane, Grootenhuis will pursue his master’s degree in health and wellness management.
