Elizabeth Critton, begins her second year with the program in 2024-25, after joined the Green Wave in the summer of 2023 following the completion of her playing career at Loyola University of New Orleans. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology in May 2023. Critton played her final two seasons with the Wolfpack after spending one season at McNeese State and two years at Mclennan Community College.
In 2023-24, Tulane was the top free throw shooting team in the AAC (76.8) while ranking among the league leaders in the conference in assists per game (15.8 - 1st), field goal percentage (41.8 - 5th) and three-point percentage (31.8). The program set a new record with 231 made threes and saw Kyren Whittington ranked fifth in the conference in scoring at 17.4 points per game.
During her time at Loyola, Critton helped the Wolfpack win back-to-back Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) regular season titles (2022-23) and the SSAC Conference Tournament championship in 2022.
Outside of competition, she worked with and trained young athletes through multiple positions and volunteer opportunities. Most recently Critton has worked with Sports Academy in New Orleans training athletes ranging in age from five to 12 years old while also volunteering with Kenner Angels Basketball assisting the head coach with all elements of coaching.
Critton is pursuing a master's degree in sports studies at Tulane.
