Eric Beyer begins his fifth year at Tulane Athletics, his fourth season as director of operations where he works primarily with indoor and beach volleyball. In his current capacity, Beyer is responsible for coordinating and scheduling travel on road trips and serving as the liaison to equipment operations staff. He also handles team logistics, statistics and carries out a variety of other administrative duties.

Beyer came to Tulane in August 2015 following a stint in the pharmaceutical communications industry in New Jersey. A Baton Rouge native, Beyer has also lived in California and North Carolina. Previously, he served as the program coordinator for Tulane women’s basketball.

At LSU, Beyer received his bachelor’s degree in general studies, which included studies in organizations, business administration, communication studies and sociology.
