Henry Bonilla Receives Conference USA Honors

NEW ORLEANS Tulanes Henry Bonilla has been named Conference USA Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Bonilla pitched his first career shut out and his third complete game of the season. Through nine innings of work, Bonilla walked one and struck out eight. He pitched six innings before giving up the first Memphis hit. After walking one batter in the second, Bonilla retired the next 13 Tiger batters.
With the win, Bonilla improved to 8-1 on the season and 4-0 in C-USA play. His year to date ERA is 3.36 and leads the Wave in strikeouts with 93.
