NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Janell Burse scored 19 points and Grace Daley added 18 as No. 25 Tulane beat Houston 83-53 Thursday night.
Tulane (20-3, 9-3 Conference USA) forced 25 turnovers, had 17 steals and seven blocked shots - five by Burse - to post its fifth straight 20-win season.
Tulane made 19 of 25 shots to take a 45-19 halftime lead, then used mostly reserves in the second half to finish off Houston (6-16, 3-9).
ShaRonda Lasseter with 17 points and Cathy Lida with 12 led Houston. Both also had seven rebounds for the Lady Cougars.
