
Wave Sweeps South Florida Away

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Grace Daley scored 29 points, Janell Burse added 22 and No. 25 Tulane used a 19-2 surge in the second half to beat South Florida 87-66 on Saturday.
The victory gave Tulane (21-3 overall, 10-3 Conference USA) a season sweep of last-place South Florida (11-13, 2-11). Tulane won 84-78 last month in Tampa.
Daley has 2,067 career points, 13 short of the Tulane record. She was 9-for-17 from the field, 2-for-5 from 3-point range and 9-for-9 from the line.
Tulane led 46-45 with 16:19 left, then went on a 19-2 run to go ahead by 65-47 with 10:49 remaining.
Daley also had a game-high nine rebounds, Burse had eight more and reserve Salome Hector joined them in double figures with 10 points.
