
Tulane's Bonilla Drafted By Twins

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane right-handed pitcher Henry Bonilla was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the eighth round of the Major League Baseball draft on Monday.
This season, Bonilla (9-3) recorded a team high 106 strikeouts in 119 1/3 innings pithed. Bonilla, a native of Reno, Nev., was second on the team with nine wins and had four complete games to his credit including a win against South Alabama in the 2000 Starkville Regional.
In his career at Tulane, Bonilla went 20-4 with eight complete games, and 237 strikeouts in 243 1/3 innings pitched.
