Bush Will Watch Stanford, Tulane In CWS Opener

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - President Bush will watch Stanford and Tulane play Friday in the opening game of the College World Series.
The White House on Monday said Bush plans to attend the game between the No. 4-seeded Cardinal and No. 5 Green Wave after a stop in Des Moines earlier in the day.
In the late game that day, No. 1 Cal State-Fullerton will play No. 8 Nebraska.
No. 3 Southern California and No. 6 Georgia will play before a national broadcast television audience on CBS at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. No. 2 Miami will face No. 7 Tennessee to close out the opening round at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
CBS also will air the championship game on June 16. All other games will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
