NEW ORLEANS - Friday's Tulane vs. Louisiana-Lafayette baseball game at the NCAA Baseball Regional in Baton Rouge will be seen live in the New Orleans area thanks to the cooperative efforts of Cox Communications New Orleans and WGNO-TV Channel 26.
The game between the Green Wave and Ragin' Cajuns will be seen tonight (Friday) beginning at 7 p.m. CT on Cox Cable's "Glimpse" TV which can be accessed in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish on Channel 1 by those homes which have a cable converter box, and on Channel 98 in homes which do not have a box.
In addition to today's game, Cox's "Glimpse" channel will show any subsequent regional games between Tulane and UL-Lafayette or Tulane and Southern. Any game between Tulane and LSU will air locally on WNOL-TV (WB 38).
Green Wave fans attending the regional games in Baton Rouge are invited to meet other Tulane supporters prior to the game for a Tulane Tailgate. A green "Aggrecko" tent will be set up in the parking lot across from Alex Box Stadium beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, or two hours before the start of any Tulane game in the tournament. Tulane fans can enjoy free hot dogs, beer and soft drinks courtesy of the Tulane Athletics Fund (T.A.F.) while preparing to cheer on the Green Wave.
All Tulane games can also be heard on the radio on WRBH-FM (88.3) or through the internet at www.TulaneGreenWave.com.
