
Super Regional Ticket, Travel, Tailgating and TV Information

NEW ORLEANS - After a victory in the NCAA Oxford Regional, the Tulane Green Wave baseball team will travel to Fullerton, Calif. this weekend to take on the Cal State Fullerton Titans in an NCAA Super Regional. The best two-of-three series will be played Saturday, Sunday and Monday (if necessary), June 12-14, at Goodwin Field in Fullerton with the winner advancing to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Neb. which begins June 18.
Saturday's opening game will begin at 9 p.m. Central time (7 p.m. local) while first pitch for Sunday's second game is at 8 p.m. Central (6 p.m. local). If necessary, Monday's contest is tentatively scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. CDT (4 p.m. PDT). All the Tulane-Fullerton games will be televised on a regional basis by ESPN2 with fans in the home markets of the two teams slated to receive their teams' games.
To ensure the ability to see every Super Regional game no matter where in the country they are located, fans can order ESPN College Grand Slam package by calling DirecTV at 1-800-DIRECTV, the Dish Network at 1-800-333-DISH or their local cable provider. Live radio coverage is also available on the Internet at at www.TulaneGreenWave.com while www.ncaasports.com will carry live stat updates of all the Super Regional games.
Fans who will be in California to support the Green Wave can contact the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office at 504-861-WAVE to order Super Regional tickets in the Tulane section of Goodwin Field. Tickets are $27 for the three-game set. On game-day only, Cal State Fullerton will sell any remaining single game tickets for $11.
In addition, the Tulane Alumni Association will host a tailgate party for all Tulane alumni and supporters prior to each game of the Super Regional. The parties begin two hours prior to each game and snacks and drinks will be provided. The tent will be located in parking lot A, row 7, at the east end next to West Campus Drive. There will be spaces there for cars to park and the stadium is within walking distance.

Tulane, 41-19, will play in its second Super Regional in the last four years. The Green Wave won the Super Regional played at Zephyr Field in New Orleans in 2001 and advanced to its first College World Series.
