In those two games, the Wave averaged 82.5 ppg with a +21.0 scoring margin, shooting 57.0 percent from the field. Meanwhile, the Wave defense forced 24.0 turnovers per game. In addition, Tulane currently boasts a six-game win streak at Fogelman in Devlin, dating back to the end of last season. The last time Tulane won 10 straight at home dates back to January of 2003. Â
A BENCHMARK FOR SUCCESS
Tulane got a much needed boost from two particular members of its bench in its 75-66 win on the road at UTSA. Trailing 55-53 early in the fourth quarter, a Shakira Harding three-pointer kick started a 12-2 Tulane run. Ultimately, Harding scored all seven on her points in the final quarter.Â
In addition, Caylah Cruickshank broke through, scoring a career best 8 points in a career high 18 minutes.Â
UTSA wasn't the first time Harding shone off the bench. Previously, the senior recorded a career day vs Southern Miss, scoring 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting, including a 3-for-4 showing from three-point range, as all three statistics marked career highs.Â
Overall, Tulane is now averaging 18.6 ppg from its bench.Â
