Baseball Begins Third Week of Fall Workouts

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane baseball continues fall workouts with its third week of preparation for the 2018 season.

The Green Wave held training sessions for three days last week, and then scrimmaged Friday, Saturday and Sunday, simulating an in-season weekend. The Wave will continue this week with the pattern of preparing the team for an in-season schedule.

Tulane will scrimmage Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesday's scrimmage is scheduled begin at 3:50 p.m. and go five innings. The team will scrimmage seven innings on Friday beginning at 3:40 p.m. and Saturday beginning at 11:40 a.m., and conclude the week with a five-inning scrimmage at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Tuesday and Thursday practices will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Tulane baseball fall practices are open to the public. Practice and scrimmage times are subject to change.

Fall workouts will culminate with the seven-game Blue and Green World Series, Nov. 10-19 at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
