
Women's Swimming & Diving to Host Denver, FIU, Rice in Dual-a-Pool-Ooza

NEW ORLEANS – Three teams from across the country will be competing against Tulane in a unique format at the Dual-a-Pool-Ooza this weekend at the Reily Center Natatorium.
Denver, FIU and Rice will all be making the trip to New Orleans to compete in a series of dual meets against the Green Wave. Action starts on Friday at 4 p.m. as Tulane faces Denver and FIU duals with FIU. The teams will battle in 12 events during those dual meets.
On Saturday morning at 10 a.m., opponents switch as the Green Wave go up against FIU while Rice and Denver square off in 11 different events. At 3 p.m. on Saturday, the teams change once more as Tulane faces Rice and FIU tangles with Denver in 11 events.

During each of the dual meets, one opponent pairing will swim in the first heat of an event while the second pairing will compete in the second heat of events.
Over the course of the three pairs of meets, the teams will face off in 25 different events including six different relays.
Tulane has had a very successful season so far, posting a 3-1 record in dual meets and coming off two consecutive wins. The Green Wave defeated West Florida in Pensacola last weekend, claiming wins in 10 of the 13 events. Tulane has also set new top-10 individual marks in program history six times.
After completing the Dual-a-Pool-Ooza, Tulane has two weekends off before its final meet of the calendar year. The Green Wave will head to Houston to compete in the Phil Hansel Invitational on November 16-18.
