NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's basketball team aims for consecutive American Athletic Conference wins and a regular-season series split against East Carolina when the programs clash on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

• Redshirt junior Cameron Reynolds ranks fifth in The American in scoring (16.2) and fourth in three-point field goals made (59).
• Sophomore Melvin Frazier is No. 2 in the league in steals per game (1.7), senior Malik Morgan is seventh in assists per game (4.1) and senior Ryan Smith is sixth in field goal percentage (.509).

THE OPPONENT
• East Carolina (12-15, 4-10 AAC) enters Tuesday's contest coming off a 61-58 home loss to UCF on Saturday, where the Knights ended the game on an 11-2 scoring run.
• ECU is among the best defensive teams in the conference, ranking second in three-point field goal percentage defense (.312) and third in field goal percentage defense (.385). The Pirates are also third in the league in rebounding (38.7) and blocks per game (5.4), but 10th in turnover margin (-2.8).

THE SERIES
• Tuesday's matchup marks the 22nd all-time meeting between the Green Wave and Pirates, as Tulane owns a 12-9 lead in the series.
• The programs faced off as Conference USA foes for 12 seasons before transitioning into the American Athletic Conference starting with the 2014-15 campaign.
• ECU has walked away with a win in each of its last three trips to New Orleans, as the Green Wave's last home victory over East Carolina came in a 74-63 decision on Feb. 11, 2009.
• When the two clubs met on Feb. 4 in Greenville, Tulane placed four scorers in double-figures and trailed by as few as three points with five minutes remaining, but suffered a 74-65 defeat.
• Cameron Reynolds scored a team-high 16 points, while Ray Ona Embo added 15 points and a personal-best four steals. Melvin Frazier chipped in 13 points and six boards, as Ryan Smith scored 10 points. Malik Morgan handed out a career-high 12 assists with just one turnover, tying for the third most in a single game in program history.
• Caleb White led East Carolina (11-13, 3-8 AAC) with a game-high 20 points, as Jeremy Sheppard added 18 points. Kentrell Barkley posted a double-double comprising 14 points and 12 rebounds to go with six assists.

LAST TIME OUT
• Melvin Frazier scored a career-high 27 points to lead six Tulane players in double-figures as the Green Wave defeated USF, 94-71, on Saturday, Feb. 18 in New Orleans.
• Frazier shot 10-for-11 from the field, including 3-for-4 from three-point range, while Cameron Reynolds added 17 points. Ryan Smith chipped in 12 points and seven boards, Ray Ona Embo and Kain Harris scored 11 points apiece and Malik Morgan contributed 10 points.
• Tulane (5-21, 2-12 AAC) shot a scorching 33-for-50 (.660) from the field and 12-for-22 (.545) from three, while the team's 94 total points, 44 first-half points, 33 field goals and 12 threes were all season-highs.
• Geno Thorpe led USF with 22 points, as Tulio Da Silva scored 17 points to complement nine rebounds. Luis Santos shot a perfect 7-for-7 from the field and added 16 points off the bench.
