Women’s Tennis Set for Hidden Dual at Kentucky Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis team will be on the road for the second weekend in a row with a trip to Lexington for the Kentucky Invitational. The first of three-straight days of competition begins Nov. 2 at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

Matches will be played in a hidden dual format. The Green Wave will go up against student-athletes from the University of Kentucky and Virginia Tech.

Last weekend, Tulane took the courts in Tuscaloosa for the Roberta Allison Invitational at the University of Alabama, where Ivone Alvaro and Laura Fabrizi teamed up to defeat a pair of opponents from Mississippi State and Ole Miss and win their doubles draw with a 3-0 record. Alex Alegre and Adelaide Lavery also finished the weekend on a high note, winning the consolation final of their doubles draw. In singles, Alegre claimed the title in her consolation draw with consecutive wins.
