
Bowling’s McCall and Ng Earn NTCA All-America Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Tulane bowling senior Michelle Ng and freshman Madison McCall earned All-America Honorable Mention honors from the National Tenpin Coaches Association, it was announced Wednesday night at the NCAA Bowling Awards Banquet prior to the NCAA Championships.
This is the third NTCA All-America honor for Ng, who became Tulane's first bowling athlete to earn All-America recognition as an honorable mention selection in 2016 and did so again in 2017. This is the first All-America honor for McCall, a true freshman from Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Ng led Tulane this season with a 203.29 pin average and compiled 7,725 total pins in 38 games. The Singapore native bowled scores better than 200 in 18 matches, including a season-high 244 in the UMES Hawk Classic in November.
McCall averaged 202.26 pins across 35 games in her first collegiate season. She totaled 7,079 pins and bowled a high score of 289 in her first tournament of the season. Her 289 came against Duquesne in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Bowling Invitational on Oct. 21.
McCall and Ng led the Green Wave to their highest national ranking ever, as Tulane spent much of the season at No. 9 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association top 25 poll. The Wave finished in the top 10 in all seven regular season tournaments, and posted three top five finishes.
