Bowling Sitting Twelfth in Latest NTCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane bowling team continues its run in the latest rankings as the squad sits in 12th place in the March release of the NTCA Coaches Poll.

The Green Wave, one of seven teams from the Southland Bowling League in the latest poll, received 628 points in the release, just behind North Carolina A&T and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Tulane finished the month of February with top-10 finishes at the Prairie View A&M Invitational and Sunshine State Winter Classic, with a 12th place finish to cap competition at the SFA Ladyjack Classic in Dallas, Texas.

The top five teams are unchanged from the previous poll, led by McKendree and followed by Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Arkansas State and Sam Houston State. SFA is at No. 6, Maryland Eastern Shore at No. 7, Farleigh Dickinson at No. 8, Saint Francis (Pa.) at No. 9 and Wisconson-Whitewater at No. 10.

Tulane will be back in action next weekend, taking part in the final regular-season competition of the year in Smyrna, Tennessee at the Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt.
