Final Round Action of the Clemson Invitational Washed Out

SUNSET, S.C. – Thunderstorms washed out the final round of the fourth annual Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Tuesday afternoon.

Twelve of the 96 players had completed 18 holes, and all players had finished at least nine holes, but the official final results reverted to the end of the second round, making Vanderbilt the team champion at 21-under 555.

Tulane finished the tournament in 17th place with a score of 595.

Senior Laura Munoz led all Green Wave individuals with a two-round total of 145 and finished tied for 35th.

Rounding out the Tulane lineup is sophomore Jennifer Rosenberg (tied for 69th, 150), junior Gabrielle Correia (tied for 69th, 150), junior Haydyn Gibson (tied for 79th, 152) and senior Sofia Goicoechea (tied for 79th, 152).

The Green Wave return to action on Sunday as they travel to the AAC Championships April 14-16 in Palm Coast, Fla.
