Jun 19, 2019 | Men's Basketball
NEW ORLEANS – The American Athletic Conference announced its men's basketball schedule matrix for the 2019-20 season on Wednesday, revealing which opponents Tulane will compete against twice and the four the Green Wave will face once.
For Tulane, the 18-game league slate will feature home-and-home matchups against UConn, UCF, East Carolina, Memphis, SMU, Temple and Tulsa. The Green Wave will host Cincinnati and USF without respective return trips, and will travel to Houston and Wichita State for one road game apiece.
The complete 2019-20 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced in late August.
The 2020 American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship will be held in March at the brand new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. ESPN's family of networks will broadcast all the action.
Tulane enters its first year under the leadership of Ron Hunter, who was named the program's new head coach in late March. His 445 career wins make him the winningest coach to ever lead the Green Wave.
