The Laurel Hollow, N.Y., native continued to play well in the second round posting a round of one-under 70 in the second. She logged four birdies in the second round. She did post a bogie on the back nine in the second round. Rosenberg finished ninth after the first two rounds.
Senior Haydyn Gibson led the Green Wave in the first round with a career-best three-under 68. She teed off on the eighth hole with two-straight pars. She then reeled off three-straight birdies on the 10th, 11th and 12th holes. Gibson added birdies on the third, 15th and 17th holes later in the round. The Clearwater, Fla., native followed the first round with an eight-over 79 in the second round. She closed the day tied for 34th. She had eight birdies on the day.
"Today was a step forward," Tulane head coach Stew Burke said. "Haydyn [Gibson] had a career-low round to start and Jenny [Rosenberg] put together two solid rounds. We gave away too many cheap shots over the course of the day, but I'm please to see progress since our last event."
