
Tulane Women’s Golf Opens Fall Campaign at the Trinity Forest Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's golf team opens the fall portion of its 2019-20 season on Monday under the direction of first-year head coach Stew Burke, as it travels to Dallas to take part in the Trinity Forest Invitational.
The tournament begins with two rounds of continuous play on Monday, starting at 8 a.m. via shotgun start. SMU will serve as the tournament host. The third and final round will begin at 8 a.m. the following day with a shotgun start.
The two-day event will be held at the par 72, 6,233-yard Trinity Forest Golf Club. Tulane will face teams from No. 28 Baylor, No. 30 Texas Tech, No. 59 Memphis, No. 60 Colorado, No. 63 Oklahoma State, No. 65 SMU, No. 83 Kansas State, No. 86 Tulsa, No. 88 North Texas, No. 106 Tulane, No. 124 Central Arkansas (rankings based on Golfweek's Sagarin Rankings).
The Green Wave enters the year with a strong balance of youth and experience. Over the past month, the Green Wave have continued to work on their game in the hopes of opening the 2019-20 campaign on a high note.
The lineup for the Green Wave this week includes junior Jennifer Rosenberg at No. 1, senior Gabrielle Correia at No. 2, freshman Carlota Palacios at No. 3, freshman Hanna Liu at No. 4 and sophomore Isabella Cardenas will compete at the No. 5 position.
Rosenberg will look to build off an impressive sophomore campaign where she captured Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors.
