
Tulane Athletics Posts Strong 2020 Spring Academics Semester

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom, as they posted a departmental grade point average of 3.675 during the spring semester.

Every Green Wave athletic program posted a grade point average over a 3.0.Â

"What our student-athletes accomplished in the classroom during these unprecedented times is absolutely remarkable and I could not be more proud of their academic commitment," Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said. "I would like to congratulate our academic and coaching staffs for their dedication to our student-athletes' success."

The Tulane sailing program finished with the department's highest team GPA, closing with a 3.815 average.

"I could not be more excited for the academic success of our student-athletes," Senior Associate Athletics Director for Academic Services Dr. Charvi Greer said. "Their dedication to academic excellence is second to none."
