NEW ORLEANS - After starting the 2021 spring with three straight wins, the Tulane women's tennis team looks to build on their unbeaten start to the season with a home match against the University of New Orleans on Thursday, January 28. First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., at the City Park Tennis Center.
SCOUTING NEW ORLEANS
The Privateers play their first match of the season against the Green Wave. They are led by junior and Alcorn State transfer Anastasia Vaganova who was a two-time All-SWAC First Team selection and the 2019 SWAC Freshman of the Year. Additional, veteran newcomers who transferred into the program include Estelle Vanthier (Green Bay) and Lina Hohnhold (Memphis). Letterwinners returning include Claudette Gilhespie (33 career singles wins) and Ank Vullings (10-0 during the shortened 2020 spring season).
