Forbes Named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's basketball sophomore guard Jaylen Forbes was named to the American Athletic Conference honor roll on Monday by the league office.

Forbes received the honor after he averaged 22.5 points in two games last week for the Green Wave. His 22.5 points per game average ranked second in the AAC this past week. In addition, Forbes shot 50.0 percent from the field and averaged 4.0 rebounds per game.

The Florence, Mississippi, native opened the week with a 20-point effort on the road at the College of Charleston. He then poured in 25 points on Saturday in a convincing 85-64 victory over Alcorn State.

With his 45 points scored last week, Forbes surpassed 500 points in his career at Tulane.
