
Bowling Ranked No. 17 in New NTCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's bowling team was ranked No. 17 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll on Friday, March 5.

The Green Wave are currently 14-14 overall this season. Tulane logged two wins over then- No. 6 Sam Houston State and one over No. 10 Stephen F. Austin in its last time out on the lanes.

The Olive and Blue have made a habit of finishing tournaments strong registering a 4-1 total record on the final day of tournaments this season. The Green Wave were ranked No. 12 in the February NTCA Poll. Â

McKendree took the top spot with a 42-9 record and 16 first place votes, while fellow Southland Bowling League member Arkansas State earned the No. 2 spot with a 19-13 record and six first place votes. Vanderbilt, North Carolina A&T and Nebraska rounded out the top five, in that order.

The Green Wave will be back in action today, March 5, at the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
