
Track and Field to Contend at NCAA East Regional

NEW ORLEANS - Five members of the Tulane University track and field team are set to compete in the 2021 NCAA East Regional scheduled for May 27-29 in Jacksonville, Fla.
Competing this week, will be Maya Harewood in the 400m dash, Kyah Loyd in the 100m hurdles, Nastja Modic in the pole vault, Tri Malej in the triple jump, and Hannah Patrick in the javelin. The Green Wave will begin competition on Thursday.
Field events will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the javelin for Patrick. The pole vault with Modic will follow at 3 p.m. To start off the track events on Thursday, Loyd will contend in the first round of the 100m hurdles at 6 p.m., and finishing the evening, Harewood will compete in the first round of the 400m dash.
Tulane will be back on Saturday, beginning with Malej in the triple jump at 3:15 p.m. The track events start at 6:45 p.m. with the possibility of Loyd competing in the quarterfinals for the 100m hurdles and Harewood in the 400m dash at 7:20 p.m.
