No. 15 Tulane Bowling Ready to Compete in the USBC Sectionals

NEW ORLEANS - The No. 15 ranked Tulane University women's bowling team is set to compete in the United States Bowling Congress Sectionals this weekend at the USA Bowl in Dallas, Texas.Â

The Green Wave is coming off a 10th-place finish at the Mid-Winter Classic at Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 18-20. Tulane went 4-4 at the Mid-Winter Classic, but finished the tournament on a high-note with a 2-1 Sunday.Â
Among the teams the Wave will be competing with at the USBC Sectionals this weekend will be No. 3 Sam Houston State and No. 8 Stephen F. Austin

All eight athletes will compete in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Sectionals for the Green Wave on Friday. Tulane will compete as a team in the USBC Team Championships Sectionals March 12-13.The Baker matches will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and the traditional matches start at 9:25 a.m. on Saturday. Sunday will feature a best of seven Baker format that starts at 8:25 a.m.
