McCall Named Honorable Mention All-American by NTCA

NEW ORLEANS – Senior Madison McCall of the Tulane bowling team was named Honorable Mention All-American by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA). This marks the fourth time (2018, 2020, 2021, 2022) in her career McCall has earned Honorable Mention All-American selection by the NTCA.
McCall averaged 203.9 pins overall for the season as she became the first bowler to qualify for the Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) in program history. She will begin competition in the ISC on Tuesday, April 19, in Addison, Illinois.

The Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, native anchored the Green Wave for most of the season on the way to a qualifying berth for the team in the Intercollegiate Team Championships which will also be in Addison, Illinois, beginning on Thursday, April 21.
She posted three top-10 finishes during the season including a first-place performance in the Dezy Strong Classic. During the event, McCall averaged 226.8 pins per game knocking down a total of 1,134 across five games.
Her other two top-10 performances came at the Colonial Lanes Classic in October and the Lady Techsters Classic in February where she finished sixth in both events. In the Colonial Lanes Classic McCall averaged 221.6 pins per game for a total of 1,108. She posted an average of 203.5 with a total pinfall of 1,221 for her sixth-place finish at the Lady Techsters Classic.
During the Sonic Boom Invitational in November, the senior played an integral part in helping the Green Wave record its first 300-baker game in program history. She knocked down 1,036 total pins during the event for an average of 207.2 per game.
With McCall's honorable mention honor by the NTCA, Tulane has now had a bowler earn NTCA honors the past six seasons. McCall is responsible for four of those honors during her career with the Green Wave.
